Winemaker Notes

Light and zippy red with notes of wild red berries and dried figs. Good with a slight chill. "Calx" is the latin term for limestone, describing the soil this vineyard is founded on and the building blocks of the smurf-like farming houses found throughout the region. This bottle is a part of the FUSO project, which focuses on bringing small production, organic Italian table wines to the US.
