When you think of Arizona’s desert climate and sunny skies, surely you think of hockey, right? Even if you don’t, the Wildcats certainly do. Founded in 1979 as a club sport, Arizona (then known as the “IceCats”) quickly gained steam, winning a National Championship in 1985 and were a founding member of the ACHA.
